Who We Are
This CPA firm is owned and operated by the one and only Mary E. Pogue, CPA. She works with clients to help improve their tax and accounting records so they are in line with their business and personal goals. If you are in need for some realignment, contact her today!
Mary has been working with CPA firms to help clients with various bookkeeping and tax matters since 2007. She is a Certified Public Accountant with the State of Texas, and loves what she does. She also is a Texas Notary Public, in case you need something notarized.
One of her biggest passions is helping others. So, whether you feel you are barely treading water to stay afloat, or you are simply looking for a consultant, or somewhere in the middle, she is more than happy to discuss your needs in order to help you in the most efficient way possible.

The "Tax Cuts and Jobs Act" of 2017 made historic changes to the tax code since 1986, and is very complex. Do not let the "postcard 1040" form deceive you. Form 1040 may look more simplified than previous years, but there are several schedules to be attached, most of which contain complex calculations.

Mary loves the Houston Astros and Houston Texans; she roots for them every season! When she's not rooting for the Astros or Texans, she cheers for the San Diego Padres & the San Diego [L.A.] Chargers [even though it's hard to continue to love the Chargers since they aren't in SD anymore] - she is a converted Texan, but west coast blood never leaves you. In addition to enjoying watching and playing sports, she loves the outdoors - especially fishing and taking her puppy to the park!
